Write for us
We welcome pitches from writers who can make one aspect of story craft clear, specific and enjoyable to explore. A good proposal begins with a question or a useful puzzle, then shows what readers will be able to notice or try after reading.
What fits
We consider original pieces about characters, scenes, structure, voice and revision. A pitch might unpack why a scene changes direction, compare two ways of arranging a narrative, or offer a small writing experiment. Keep the subject focused enough to give the piece a clear centre.
What to include
Tell us the working title, the central idea, the intended reader and how the piece will develop. Mention any examples or factual claims you expect to use, and explain what makes your approach distinct. We prefer a concise proposal to a finished article sent without context.

Use the Contact page and choose the editorial question option to share your pitch. Please include a way for us to reply through the form. We cannot promise to take on every proposal, and we will not treat a pitch as accepted until we have agreed on it.
